Let me in instrumental started off as a remix I made for an artist I was due to support. I never sent the artist the remix as I thought it had a lot of potential and too much emotion. Inspired I sent Pollena the instrumental and she came through with a poignant concept about not being accepted into certain groups and trends. Pollena then through her lyrics tried to encapsulate how it is to feel isolated and disconnected whilst living in a busy city. "I often feel that there's an inauthenticity to connection within cities as its all so transient, we are so rushed and there's always something we should be doing or a place we could be. I tried to incorporate this feeling into my lyrics"
